How to Make Jewelry With Wire

Making jewelry with wire is a form of artistic impression. It can be challenging and fun. Rings, ear rings, bracelets, necklaces, etc. can be made. Skill will be made with practice.

Things You'll Need:

• wire snips
• needle nose plyers
• wire
• beads (optional)

1. First gather an idea in your mind of what item of jewelry you would like to make. Take that idea to create the design in your mind of what it will look like. Put the idea on paper sketching your idea.

2. From your paper sketch, draw the item life size to get a better feel for the item. Draw in detail.

3. Take the wire & wire snips. According to the design, cut the wire to as much as needed. Shape wire with the needle nose pliers according to the design. Add beads where wanted. Since each creation is a work of individual art, sometimes it takes more than the first try to get it right. Keep practicing and you will make many wonderful works of artistic jewelry.
