Deleting songs from your iPod is very easy and can be done in just a few seconds. This eHow can be used for the iPod Nano, iPod Classic, and iPod Touch.

Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • iPod Nano (Any Generation)
  • PC or Mac with iTunes
  • iPod USB Cable
  1. Step 1

    Open iTunes on your PC or Mac and connect your iPod via the USB Cable.

  2. Step 2

    With your iPod connected, under the 'Devices' tab on the left side of iTunes, select your iPod. This should make a new window appear that has a few different tabs along the top. Select the tab labeled 'Summary'.

  3. Step 3

    Check the box labeled: 'Sync only checked songs and videos'. This means that only the songs that have a check mark next to them will be added to your iPod.

  4. Step 4

    Go back to your Music Library in iTunes and uncheck the songs that you want deleted from your iPod. Next time that you sync your iPod with iTunes, those songs will be removed from your iPod.
