Things You'll Need:
- Ears of corn
- Shrimp and crab boil package
- Shrimp and crab boil seasoning
- 2 large lemons
- 1 large onion
- 3 lb small red potatoes
- 4 lb large raw shrimp unpeeled
- 8 cups of ice cubes
- 3 tbsp of salt
-
Step 1
Start out cutting the 3 ears of corn in half pieces.
-
Step 2
Bring the boil in bag shrimp and crab boil, ¼ cup of liquid shrimp and crab boil seasoning, 2 quartered large lemons, 1 quartered large onion, and 3 ½ quart water to a boil in a large stockpot over high heat. Cover and boil over medium heat for 20 minutes or until the potatoes and the corn become tender.
-
Step 3
Stir in 4 lbs of the large shrimp; remove from the heat. Cover and let it stand about 10 minutes. The shrimp will turn pink and the shells will begin to loosen slightly. Stir in 8 cups of ice cubes and salt and let it stand for 5 minutes. Drain it and discard the boil bag.
-
Step 4
Shrimp Sauce: Stir 1 cup of mayonnaise, 2 tablespoons of ketchup, 1 tablespoon of dill pickle relish mix these ingredients well and use it for dipping.
