Make Boiled Shrimp with a Shrimp Sauce

This recipe will teach you how to boil awesome shrimp and crate a hearty shrimp sauce for dipping.

Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • Ears of corn
  • Shrimp and crab boil package
  • Shrimp and crab boil seasoning
  • 2 large lemons
  • 1 large onion
  • 3 lb small red potatoes
  • 4 lb large raw shrimp unpeeled
  • 8 cups of ice cubes
  • 3 tbsp of salt
  1. Step 1

    Start out cutting the 3 ears of corn in half pieces.

  2. Step 2

    Bring the boil in bag shrimp and crab boil, ¼ cup of liquid shrimp and crab boil seasoning, 2 quartered large lemons, 1 quartered large onion, and 3 ½ quart water to a boil in a large stockpot over high heat. Cover and boil over medium heat for 20 minutes or until the potatoes and the corn become tender.

  3. Step 3

    Stir in 4 lbs of the large shrimp; remove from the heat. Cover and let it stand about 10 minutes. The shrimp will turn pink and the shells will begin to loosen slightly. Stir in 8 cups of ice cubes and salt and let it stand for 5 minutes. Drain it and discard the boil bag.

  4. Step 4

    Shrimp Sauce: Stir 1 cup of mayonnaise, 2 tablespoons of ketchup, 1 tablespoon of dill pickle relish mix these ingredients well and use it for dipping.
