MT I do not have home, no hot weather no hit no job for 4 years.Live with the person every day say you have to move. Dear Madam First Lady: I am writing to you in hopes that you and Presisdent Obama can help me surprise my Daddy. He will be 100 years old on December 27, 2011 and is indeed the proudest American I know. He was born in Charlottesville, VA and was one of the first Monticello National Guardsmen. Even at his ripe age now...the end of his phone message ti God Bless America. As a National Guardsmen, he went off to fight in World War II and aside from the Silver Star, Purple Heart and many others -- his most awe inspiring medal was given to him by General Charles de Gaulle - the French Croix de Guerre. He speaks of it very proudly along with his other medals and says he only did what he had to do. My favorite picture of him is with my grandson and his great grandson, Josh, at a celebration at his school in South Riding celebrating all Veterans...Josh saluting and Daddy being held up by his walker with his hand over his heart singing for all he is worth -- God Bless America. I call this wonderful man, Daddy; my sons call him, Poppa and my four grandsons call him Great Poppa. He and my Mom adopted me and gave me the best world; then did the very same for my children and now his great grandchildren. We lost my Mom 12 years ago and he loves her as much today as when she was alive. Madam First Lady and President Obama, he has given so much to me, his grandkids, his great grandkids and his Nation, that I would love to be able to give him back something for all his efforts. So please, if you all can see it in your heart to congratulate him on his 100th birthday -- I would be ever so grateful that this wonderful American and Father was honored by the two of you. It would make his lasting years ever so inspiring. Thank you so very much for taking the time to read this note to the two of you from a daughter that loves her Daddy very much.
