Green beans are available year round. They are loaded with vitamins and nutrients like vitamins C, vitamin K, vitamin A, manganese, potassium and beta-carotene to name a few. They are also rich in dietary fiber. Choose fresh green beans that have nice color and snap easily when bent. Green beans can be stored in a bag in the fridge for a week.

We looooove green beans in our family. We eat these garlic green beans almost every week. This recipe is really easy, healthy and sooooo delicious. If you are looking for easy healthy recipes, then this one's for you. I hope your family enjoys them as much as mine does. :0)

    Minced Garlic

Once the oil is heated, add 2-3 tsp. or 2 to 3 cloves minced garlic to the oil. Saute for a few minutes to infuse the oil with the garlic flavor. Be careful not to burn the garlic. Lower the heat if this starts to happen.

  4. Step 4

Add the green beans to the skillet. Toss for a couple minutes to coat with the oil and garlic. Sprinkle with ground sea salt. Serve immediately. Yum!
