Things You'll Need:
- Money
-
Step 1
Heart Chocolate: These boxes of chocolates can be found any and everywhere. If you’re playing that “rush game”, when it comes to getting the gift, stop anywhere that sells candy. Yes, this can be the gas station, or the local mart down the street from your house. You don’t have to go out of your way for this due to lots of candies catering to the Valentine’s holiday by making heart shaped candies.
-
Step 2
Flowers: Flowers are easy to come by no matter where you go. On Valentine’s Day there are sure to be many places that offer flowers for a reasonable price. Look for flower stands on the side of the road during Valentine’s Day; it will save you the hassle of waiting in the long lines along with the other late shoppers. If all else fails, pick fresh flowers from someone’s garden, however; be careful!
-
Step 3
Gift Cards: Gift cards come in handy no matter what holiday it is. Giving a gift card for Valentine’s Day is a guaranteed satisfaction. Not only will your girlfriend not know it was a last minute gift, she can pick out her own gift. While some girls may take this as a lazy attempt at giving a gift, others will be thankful that they get to pick their own gift for Valentine’s Day. Choose wisely when it comes to this gift; know what type of girl you have!
-
Step 4
Stuffed Animals: As you should already know, stuffed animals can be located almost anywhere, any time of the year. There are sure to be lots of Valentine’s Day themed stuffed animals such as bears. Walk into any store and pick the one that you think she will love, try to stick to the bears with hearts on them that read “I Love you”, these are a for sure winner!
-
Step 5
Make a Gift: If you don’t have any money at all, you can always use your creativity to make her a Valentine’s Day gift. This can be anywhere from a scrapbook of you two, all the way down to a book of poems. When taking time out to make a gift, make sure you give it your own personal touch, she’ll love it so much more.

on 2/5/2009 Great suggestions! I happen to love gift cards since I'd rather pick out what I want than get a "what were you thinking?" gift. :) 5*
