Make English Muffin Pizzas

English Muffin Pizzas are a quick, yummy treat for yourself or for your kids. I still remember coming home from school and my mom making these for me before I went to gymnastics. They were more nutritious than many treats and they were more filling than most. English muffin pizzas also make a good, hot lunch.

Difficulty: Easy
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • English Muffins
  • Pizza Sauce
  • Mozzarella cheese
  • Toaster oven or regular oven
  • other pizza stuff if desired
  1. Step 1

First, Split the English muffin into two circular halves and lay them on a cooking sheet.

  2. Step 2

Spread pizza sauce over the muffin halves. I like to use the tomato sauce that is in a squeeze bottle. It is easier to use and since I do not use it all at once, I can just store it away for the next time.

  3. Step 3

Sprinkle shredded mozzarella cheese over the pizza sauce.

  4. Step 4

You can add other pizza toppings if you want to make the type of pizza you want. Just make sure they are ingredients that do not need to be cooked thoroughly because the warming time is short for these.

  5. Step 5

Now put the pizzas in the toaster oven for about 5 minutes or until the cheese is melting. If you do not have a toaster over put in the oven on broil (cracking the oven door) and warm until the cheese is melted.

Tips & Warnings
  • Do not leave the oven cracked with small children around.
