Now save on postage on your wedding invitations. Do not have the inner envelope and blotter paper so that your invites weight less and cost less to mail. Then have RSVP via telephone or e-mail to save postage on return invites.

Now shop at sample sales and clearance racks, particularly right after prom. Many times you can get a great dress for low cost- especially if you wear sizes 10 or less.

Next consider having your wedding on a weeknight or on a Sunday. There is typically less demand on these days so vendors will give you a better rate.

Next pick a wedding near a major holiday- churches and other places are typically well decorated so you do not have to pay for decorations.

Consider a buffet or using a local food joint that is not fancy and rarely caters. Often they will give you bulk discounts.
