Instructions

    • 1

Purchase a mortar and pestle from an alchemy shop or take the free set that can be found near the rats in the first sewer area, if you want to be able to make potions anywhere in the game world.

    • 2
      A Work Bench

Go into a building that has an alchemy work bench if you don't have a mortar and pestle.

    • 3

Click on the work bench or access your mortar and pestle from your inventory menu.

    • 4
      Choosing Ingredients

Scroll through the list of ingredients that you have available and them into the mixture. Choose ingredients such as flax seeds for a potion that recovers magic points, bolette caps for potions that heal health points, or nightshade for a poison.

    • 5

Add in extra ingredients that have slightly different beneficial effects for a more potent healing potion such as Aloe Vera leaves to restore your fatigue rating and black berries to restore your magic points. Finalize your ingredients decision and then press the button that says "Create" to make the potion.

Tips & Warnings

  • You have to raise your alchemy skill to be able to make more powerful potions and add more ingredients. You can raise your skill by consuming any raw ingredients you find and by making large quantities of less effective potions. You can purchase or find a special item called a "Retort" which makes your healing potions more effective.

  • When your alchemy skill is at the lowest levels you will not recognize all of the properties of any herbs or ingredients you find, so your potions will not be as effective.
