How to Tune a Slide Guitar
Playing slide guitar can be a rewarding and challenging experience for any guitarist. Unlike regular guitarists, slide players prefer to play in "altered" tunings. One of the most standard slide-guitar tunings is called "open G," where the strings are tuned to the notes D, G, D, G, B and D.
