How to Create Fast & Easy Curly Hairstyles
For a lot of women, the hair they are born with isn't always the hair they want. Women with straight hair wish for curly hair; women with naturally curly hair want straight hair. When it comes to naturally curly hair, the best thing a woman can do is go with it. Flattening irons just make your hair look dry and brittle, and wouldn't you rather sleep that extra half hour in the morning than spend it with a flat iron in your hair trying to get rid of your natural curls? Does this Spark an idea?

1
Wash and condition your hair, remembering to condition your hair twice. For extremely frizzy curls, consider leaving some of the conditioner in or purchase a good, heavy, leave-in conditioner such as Aussie Leave-In Conditioner. This will help your curls stay together.

2
Gently towel dry your hair and apply curling gel such as L'Oreal Studio Tightly Wound Curl Gel; scrunch your hair, shake your head, and do whatever you have to do to bring your curls around.

After your hair has dried, use a curling iron that is the same size as your natural curls to bring life and definition to curls that aren't cooperating. Curling irons come in many different sizes and can match the size of just about any natural curl. Take the curling iron and wrap the unruly curl around it and hold for 30 seconds; then, gently remove the curling iron and use you fingers to put the curls in place.

Choose the style that you'd like to wear and make that your final goal. Up-do's are easily created with curly hair. Gently sweep your hair upward from the bottom and use a hair clip or ponytail holders. Using your fingers, move the curls around to cover the ponytail holder or hair clip.

5
Increase volume in curly hair by spraying a little bit of volumizing spray at the roots of your hair. To help increase the volume, turn your head upside down and blow dry just the roots of your hair while scrunching; add a good volumizing hairspray such as Paul Mitchell's Worked Up at this point for better effects. The use of a diffuser will also help curls stay in place.

Tips & Warnings
Ask your hairdresser to cut long layers into your hair to make your curls bouncier. If you're over 30 years of age, consider bangs to soften and lift your face.
