How to Uninstall Norton Utility
Over the years, Norton has produced several pieces of software ranging from anti-virus products to faxing services to ghosting software. Some of these products embed themselves so far into to your computer's system files it seems nearly impossible to get rid of them fully. Norton has a utility called the Norton Removal Tool, which is designed to remove their products from your computer. The Norton Removal Tool is easy to download and easier to run; you just need to know how to get it.

Follow the link at the bottom of this article to access the Norton Account Login page. Sign in or register as a new user. Select "Norton Product" under "Registered Products and Services."

Copy your product key from the site. It is important to have your product key to reinstall. Close out of the Norton website. Follow the link at the bottom of this article to access the Norton Removal Tool.

Download the Tool and save it to your Windows desktop. Activate the Removal Tool. Follow the on-screen instructions.

Open your Norton product. Select "Norton Account" at the top right of your window. Sign in to your Norton Account, and select the product(s) you want to remove.
