How to Unfreeze an IPod Nano Click Wheel

At certain times while using your iPod Nano, the display and click wheel will appear to completely freeze. Music will stop playing through the headphones and you will be unable to navigate the iPod display using the click wheel and buttons. There are some relatively easy tricks to unfreeze an iPod Nano and reset it to a functioning state again.

Instructions

1. Move the hold switch to the "off" position to make sure that your iPod Nano is not freezing because it is on hold.

2. Hold down the center button and the menu button at the same time.

3. Let go of the center and menu buttons when the Apple logo appears on the iPod Nano display.

4. Wait for the iPod Nano to load and display the main menu. Then continue using your iPod click wheel as usual.
