How to Make Potions in RS

Potions are used in RuneScape to enhance a player's abilities and other skills. Paid members are able to use the Herblore skill to make these potions, as long as they are logged in on one of the Members Only Worlds. To begin making potions, players also must have first completed the Druidic Ritual Quest.
Herblore is the skill of making potions by using herbs and second ingredients. A level 3 in Herblore is required to make potions. The first potion that a player is eligible to make is the Attack Potion, which temporarily increases the user's Attack skill level by 15 percent. You will receive 25 Herblore XP, or Experience Points, for each Attack Potion that you create.

Instructions

1. Choose a RuneScape Paid Member's World and log into your account. Go to the nearest banking facility and unload your entire backpack into your bank account. Check your inventory for the things that you will need to create the Attack Potion. The required items are a Vial of Water, a Clean Guam herb, and an Eye of Newt--the necessary second ingredient. If you have all of these, skip to Step 7. But if you are missing any of them, proceed to Step 2.

2. Decide whether you wish to purchase the items or fight for them. Everything is occasionally available from the Grand Exchange and various shops, and sometimes other players will sell them to you. You can make the Vials yourself if your Crafting level is at least 33. If you choose not to purchase or make anything, withdraw the highest level armor and weapon that you are eligible to use. Put them on and then choose some food to take with you, because you will need to fight for the items to make your potions.

3. Get Guams by killing monsters that drop herbs when they die. Some of them include Men, Women, Druids and Chaos Druids, Skeletons, Thugs and the Slayer monsters. Clean the Guams using the option offered to you in your backpack inventory. These herbs will change color when they are cleaned. Deposit all of the Clean Guams into your bank account.

4. Get Vials by killing monsters that drop them. Some of them are Cave Crawlers, any of the Druids, Werewolf Man, Werewolf Woman, Goblins, Cave Bugs, Tortured Souls, Borrokar, Freidir, Water Elemental, Freygerd, Wolfman, Wolfwoman, Salarin the Twisted, Waterfiend, and Lanzig.

5. Take the Vials to any water source, such as castle kitchens, water pumps and public fountains. Use the Vials on the sink, pump or fountain, and they will change color as they turn into Vials of Water. Deposit all of the Vials of Water into your bank account.

6. Get the Eyes of Newt by killing some of the monsters that drop them, which are the same monsters that drop Vials. Deposit them into your bank account.

7. Withdraw a Clean Guam, a Vial of Water and an Eye of Newt for each potion that you wish to make. Use the Clean Guam on the Vial of Water, which will change color as it becomes a Guam Potion. Then use the Eye of Newt on the new Guam Potion, which will change color as it becomes your finished Attack Potion.
