On cars built in the '90s or earlier, you are likely to find that the end of the wiper arm has a pin to which the wiper blade attaches. If the rubber on the wiper blade is frayed or the frame of the blade has been distorted due to snow and ice, you might be stymied when you attempt to replace it. Actually, wiper blades attached to the pin on the wiper arm are some of the easiest to replace but, like everything else automotive, there's a trick to it.
