1
Decide on the size of your bouquet and the fruits you want to use. Fruits should be of varied color, thinly sliced and firm enough to allow a skewer to pass through. Smaller sized fruits can be placed randomly within and around melons to create a diversity of color or act like a filler. Greens such as curly lettuce would look good behind and between fruits to give the appearance of leaves in a flower arrangement.

Cut off the skin of a pineapple and cut it into seven thin slices. Press the cookie cutter into each slice giving it a flower like look. Use the melon baller to scoop a ball from the cantaloupe. Slice the ball in half, and place the flat side of each on the top of a slice of pineapple. Insert the skewer completely through the melon and into the center of the pineapple. Alternate by using a red cherry in the center of a few pineapples instead of the melon. Do this for each slice of pineapple and then set aside.

Tips & Warnings
Grapes in various sizes and colors can be used as a great decorative fruit or to fill in empty spaces. Keep the arrangement in the refrigerator until you are ready to place on the table. Always attach or add anything into the arrangement by sticking a the skewer through and into the Styrofoam. Use tropical fruits to creat a tropical look, adding small paper umbrellas (as used in tropical drinks) into specific areas.
Bananas and apples lose their color when cut so it is best not to use them.
