When you need a gift for that special someone, try making this yummy candy bouquet in a coffee cup. This makes a sweet gift for Valentine's Day, a birthday, Mother's Day, or anytime just to say you are thinking of that person.

From Quick Guide: Edible Arrangements
Difficulty: Easy
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • Coffee cup
  • Assorted candy such as lollipops and candy sticks
  • Tissue paper to match coffee cup
  • Ribbon to match
  • Small gift card and holder
  1. Step 1

Choose a coffee cup. PIck one that matches the recepient's interests, personality or favorite color. A deep cup works better than a wide shallow one.

  2. Step 2

Put two sheets of tissue paper inside the cup. Cut two small squares to fit the cup if needed. Lay one sheet on top of the other with the corners not aligned. Gather the tissue paper together in the middle and place down into the cup. Spread out, if necessary.

  3. Step 3

Add candy to the cup. Place the lollipops or candy sticks inside the cup, ensuring they are snug. A full cup looks better than a skimpy one. Pick candy that is in the same color family as the cup or in contrasting colors.

  4. Step 4

Tie a ribbon around the handle of the cup. Curl the loose ends with scissors.

  5. Step 5

Add the gift card. Write your message on the gift card, put card into the holder and insert the holder in the middle of the candy in the cup. (Gift card holders can be found at most florists)

Tips & Warnings
  • Add loose candy or chocolate-covered coffee beans to the bottom of the cup to help hold the lollipops or candy sticks upright.
