My article is about creating a vision board.

Difficulty: Easy
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • poster board or bulletin board
  • scissors
  • glue, glue sticks or push pins
  • magazine, media, book clippings that mean something to you
  • tape
  • BIG dreams for your life
  1. Step 1

First you will need to get your self a poster board or bulletin board. Which can be found in the school supply or business supply isle for approx $1.99. Next you will need a variety of media sources such as magazines, newspapers, etc. Before you start, make a list of things you want, for example; what kind of car do you want to drive? What kind of house do you want to live in? What are you looking for in a mate? DREAM BIG!!!

  2. Step 2

My friend and I put our media sources together and just started going through them page by page, looking for anything that reflected meaning to our lives, such as inspirational qoutes. We also took out things that relected what we wanted for our future. While cutting or tearing out your items, pile them up for later use. Really have fun with this; you can "shop" for anything you want.

  3. Step 3

After you have collected your clippings, take some tape (if you are using poster board) and tape the board to a wall. Next use your glue sticks (for poster board) or push pins (bulletin board), and randomly put your clippings up. This is your master piece. This is your motivation to work hard for the things you want in life, and to not lose sight of what you want for yourself. When you are finished getting your clippings on your board, put the board somewhere you will be able to look at it everday and feel the feelings of having everything you want.

on 2/4/2009 We do this. But we aren't materialistic, so ours are mainly what I want in a job, good health, etc. Although, my daughter has a vacuum cleaner (the one we have weighs a ton and this is her chore). Good article.
