Step 1
No matter what the age of your baby is their are risks. As soon as your baby is born your baby will wiggle and move and push their feet against anything that touches them. So what you need to do is always make sure that your child is protected and not left on high places alone at all. And when holding your baby make sure that you hold your child with a good grip.
-
Step 2
As your child grows your child will be able to roll. This will happen at different ages foe babies. So don't think that it is ok to leave your baby on a bed alone. That is not a safe thing to do, your baby might roll over and fall off the bed. If you need to walk out of the room even for a minute put your baby in their crib or playpen some place that you know your baby will be safe. And if your baby did roll over your baby will be safe.
-
Step 3
Never leave your child alone on any high places such as sofas changing tables, beds or chairs. If your child is left unprotected your child will fall.
-
Step 4
Your child also might be able to crawl as young as 6 months. So use gates on stairways. And keep your child out a room where your child can hurt themselves.
-
Step 5
If your child does fall and does not move there arms or legs call your child's Doctor immediately or 911, especially if your child falls on their head.
