Instructions

    • 1

Make brownies as directed on the package or use your favorite from-scratch recipe.

    • 2

Spray the mini muffin pan with the cooking spray.

    • 3

Fill a piping bag (or cut the corner of a Ziploc freezer bag and use as a piping bag) and fill the mini muffin cups with the brownie mixture. Bake for 12 to 15 minutes. Let cool completely.

    • 4

Insert lollipop sticks into the center of each brownie from the flat side up, so the rounded top remains the top of the pop (be careful not to push through the top of the brownie).

    • 5

Microwave chocolate chips and shortening uncovered on high for about one minute; stir until smooth.

    • 6

Dip the top half of each brownie into the chocolate; decorate with sprinkles and your other cookie decorating supplies.

    • 7

Insert the sticks into styrofoam brick (found at floral and craft suppliers) to dry.

    • 8

Use another styrofoam brick for the presentation by wrapping it with paper (gift or wallpaper is perfect). Prepunch holes for the pops with a mini hole punch; wrap around the brick and insert lollipops-that's it, you're done.
