How to Clean Car Vents

If you really want to do a swell job when you detail the interior of your car, you've got to clean car vents where your fingers don't fit. This can also be used to clean vents inside your home. An excellent detail job does just that - pays attention to detail - and clean car vents are one of those little forgotten about details.

Things You'll Need:

• Johnson & Johnson Q-Tips
• Favorite cleaning solution

1. First, get the supplies to clean car vents. Go to your local general store and purchase a box of Johnson & Johnson Q-tips and a bottle of cleaning solution - Armor All is a good choice.

2. 
    

   As you are preparing to clean car vents, dip the end of the Q-tip in a cleaning solution or spray the Q-tip with a dusting spray. Remember this is going on a vent, so make sure it is not overly fragrant!

3. Clean car vents using the end of the Q-tip. Be certain to hold it firmly so it does not fall into the vent area. This is an excellent way to remove dust particles from a very heard to reach area. Who knew that Q-tips were for more than just cleaning out ears!

   You may also choose to use the Q-tip when cleaning other small areas that are annoying, such as the track for a sliding window or door.
