Things You'll Need:

  • beach towel
  • plastic bag/beach bag
  1. Step 1

When you are planning a family trip to the beach with your kids, make sure that you bring along beach towels, baby powder and a large ziploc bag or beach bag to put your wet items into after a day of fun in the sun and water.

  2. Step 2

After enjoying a day at in the water and sand, dry off with your beach towel and sprinkle baby powder generously on your body and objects such as toys, beach floats, etc. The baby powder will easily get the sand off you and your suit and leave you efeling clean, dry and smooth.

  3. Step 3

Place the towel and other wet and sandy objects in the bag. You will enjoy a sand-free ride home and have found a use for the baby powder we all have in our cabinet. Plus, you will enjoy a clean scent.

Tips & Warnings
  • I learned this a few years ago and also works great at your local sandbox. You can bring baby powder along in your diaper bag or car's glove compartment.
  • Use the baby powder with caution and avoid contact with your eyes.
