This article will help you install new and interesting fonts for you to use in Microsoft Office or pretty much any other program.

Difficulty: Moderately Easy
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • Computer
  • New Font
  • A little Time
  1. Step 1

First you will have to find and download a font that interest you. I like to use www.dafont.com, they have a large variety of fonts for free.

  2. Step 2

The font may need to be unzipped after it is downloaded. If this is the case you can right click on the zip folder and click on extract all. At this point Windows Extraction Tool will guide you through saving it to a location of your choosing.

  3. Step 3

The next thing is to go to your "Start" button on your computer and navigate to the control panel. Double click your Fonts folder and then once inside go to "File" and then "Install New Font".

  4. Step 4

This will bring up a box allowing you to find the font file that you unzipped in the previous step. Click on that particular font and click ok.

  5. Step 5

Mission accomplished...Enjoy your new font in all of your programs.
