      Windows Media Player

Insert cd into your computer and rip the cd to go to mp3 format. A great program to accomplish this is Windows Media Player. This automatically puts music into your music library folder with no further steps.

      iTunes

Download iTunes software from http://www.apple.com/itunes/download/ if you have an iPod. You can also purchase additional mp3s from iTunes if you would like to do so.

      Computer

Plug your iPod into the computer port with iTunes loaded. Select the option on the iTunes page to automatically transfer music folders to your iPod. I selected the option to do it always versus a one-time transfer since I constantly add to my music library- all I do is plug my iPod into my computer with iTunes loaded, and the transfer takes place automatically!
