It's a snap to make moist, rich brownie hearts

Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • 2 1/2 cups + 2 Tbs. semisweet chocolate chips, from 2 (12-oz.) pkgs.
  • 1/2 butter
  • 3/4 sugar
  • 4 eggs
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 2 tsp. instant coffee granules
  • 1 tsp. vanilla extract
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1/4 milk
  • Wilton Hearts Confetti sprinkles
  1. Step 1

    Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Line 9" square baking pan with enough foil to overhang sides by 2"; coat with cooking spray. In large pot, combine 1 1/2 cups chips with butter. Over low heat, cook, stirring, until melted and combined. Remove from heat. Whisk in sugar and eggs until blended. Add flour, coffee, vanilla and salt; whisk until smooth.

  2. Step 2

    Transfer batter to pan. Bake 20-30 minutes or until toothpick inserted into center comes out with very moist crumbs clinging. Cool on rack 15 minutes. Use foil to lift brownies from pan. Cool on rack.

  3. Step 3

    Using 2 1/2" heart shaped cutter, cut out 12 brownies; place on rack over sheet of wax paper. In microwave safe bowl, combine 1 cup chips with milk; microwave on High in 30 second intervals until melted, stirring between intervals. Using small spatula, spread over brownies , covering top and sides completely.

  4. Step 4

    In microwave safe bowl, microwave remaining 2 Tbs. chips on High in 15-second intervals until melted, stirring. Transfer to plastic sandwich bag; snip tiny hole in one corner. Pipe lines over brownies; decorate with sprinkles.
