Quick tips to save a buck. How to use less and save more.

Difficulty: Easy
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • Planner
  • Will Power
  • Paitence (especially with yourself
  • Friends
  1. Step 1

Plan. Plan your week, what you will eat, where you will go, and how you are going to get there. Write in your planner before the week starts and plan your meals and STAY ON TRACK!

  2. Step 2

Eat at home. That goes for everything, even stopping for an iced coffee once a week can end up costing you a hundred dollars a year.Plan when you are going to the grocery store and make a list of what you are going to need.

  3. Step 3

Do it with friends. When doing these plans its fun to have help with friends and get them to join with you. You can even save money on entertainment by doing movie/game nights at each others house. Renting has become very cheap a dollar for a movie and a $0.30 bag of pop corn is cheaper than going to the movies at $7 a movie.

  4. Step 4

SAY NO! Do not be afraid to tell somebody or even YOUrself no. Think before you buy it. If you could live without it, live without it. If you cut a little personal spending here and there you can really save to buy something bigger and better later like peace of mind.

Tips & Warnings
  • Car pooling is a great way to save some big bucks and make some friends.
  • Buy groceries less often but always keep your pantry stocked for meals, so you're not tempted to eat out.
  • Do not let your self get to frugal give yourself a gift of a movie or something once a month at least so you don't crack and give up on saving money.
