If you are a Nascar fan, and you like to have fun, then start a Nascar fantasy league. Pick some drivers and back them through the season. It keeps the season interesting, and you might make some money in the process.

Difficulty: Moderately Easy
Instructions
  1. Step 1

First send out some emails, or phone calls to your buddies. Ask them if they are interested in starting a Nascar Fantasy League. You want to pool all of them so you will know if it is worth the time. Tell them they can win some cash if their drivers win. Get a good, solid group of fans together. This shouldn't be too difficult.

  2. Step 2

Set the rules. Let everyone pick a driver, or pick 5 drivers. Let everyone pick 1 driver from several groups. Come up with a good point system. For example, put 5 good drivers in one group, let everyone pick a driver for that group. Then put 5 more drivers in a group, and let them pick a driver from that group. Award points based on place finished. Maybe you want to throw in points for wrecking Kyle Busch. You set the rules.

  3. Step 3

Now you need to decide what you want to charge people to play. You will want to keep a small portion of the money for the work you are putting into it. 5% of total pot sounds good.

  4. Step 4

Now you will need a way to keep track of points. You can use a spreadsheet to key in points by driver. Email each players points at the end of every race. This lets them know where they stand.

Tips & Warnings
  • Have fun and pick the drivers most likely to place well.
