Things You'll Need:
- Nail polish
- A highchair or booster
- An activity such as colors or play dough
-
Step 1
First, make sure you have a child safe nail polish. Children are notorious for putting things in their mouth and this includes their toes!
-
Step 2
Next, make sure your child is willing and wants to have her toes painted. Show her your toes and ask her if she'd like to have pretty toes like mommy!
-
Step 3
The best time to paint your child's toenails is right before a meal, so she will be still long enough for the paint to dry. Put your child in a highchair or booster seat with a tray, so she can not reach her toes. Give her something to do, like coloring, play dough or blocks.
-
Step 4
Quickly paint each toe. One coat is enough and it doesn't take much to cover those little toes. Don't do too many coats or it will take too long to dry.
-
Step 5
Once all 10 little toes are painted, its time to eat! After you eat, check her toes. Give them a couple blows and she should be good to go!
