Things You'll Need:
- This depends on the program you are applying for
-
Step 1
The best way to start preparing to apply is to go to our website, http://www.northeastern.edu/gradstudies and select "Apply now" on the right hand side of the page. This provides all of the information needed to get your application started, what is required by each department, and a convenient online application form to expedite the process.
-
Step 2
While what is required changes from department to department, most of these items are required by nearly all of the programs:
1.) Application fee
2.) Personal Statement
3.) Official transcripts from all institutions attended.
International applicants must submit transcripts in original language of instruction and officially translated to English by the institution or an educational credential evaluation agency.
4.) Two to Three Letters of Recommendation, depending on department
5.) For most programs, GRE General Scores (code is 3682.) Other programs require GRE Subject Test Scores as well. Verify if your program needs these scores on our website.
For some programs, additional materials (portfolio, resume, writing sample, nursing license) may be required. It is suggested that you look into this before sitting down to apply. -
