Things You'll Need:
- Green!
-
Step 1
Stock up on "green". Decorate your house like you would for Halloween or Christmas. Green streamer, green balloons, anything you can find!
-
Step 2
Help your kids cut out Shamrocks out of green construction paper or green felt and hand them in front of a window using string or ribbon
-
Step 3
Check out local websites or visit http://www.st-patricks-day.com/st_patricks_day_parades_home.asp to find St. Patrick's Day parades in your area.
-
Step 4
Make sure everyone has something green to wear on March 17, or you may get pinched!
-
Step 5
On St. Patrick's Day morning, have a special "green" breakfast. Add a few drops of green food coloring to your scrambled eggs, apple juice and even milk for cereal! Be extra creative and use a shamrock cookie cutter to cut out Shamrock Toast!
-
Step 6
Rather you attend a parade, watch one on TV, or just go about your day a usual, try to include green and shamrocks in everything you do. Take it a step farther, and show your kids how to be "green" for the enviroment, too!
