Instructions

    • 1

To find toddler play groups where you live, you might first want to ask around in your own neighborhood and among your friends and acquaintances. Often they will know of new or established toddler play groups you can consider joining.

    • 2

Another resource is your local preschool or nursery school or early childhood learning center. The directors and teachers in early childhood learning centers tend to be very tapped into the community in which they teach, which means they may know of some toddler play groups in town.

    • 3

You can also check your local Town Hall, library and/or community center, where you can often find bulletin board postings letting people know about toddler play groups with openings.

    • 4

Get in touch with your local Moms Club chapter to find out about the play groups they sponsor for toddlers. Moms Clubs organize many activities, including toddler play groups. You can reach your local chapter of your Moms Club by visiting their main website (see link in the "Resources" section below) and then clicking on the link at the bottom of the main page that says "Finding a chapter near you/Join" and follow the directions from there. (Alternatively, someone you know or someone at your local library or town hall or community center might be able to provide you with your local Moms Club chapter contact information.)

Tips & Warnings

  • Speaking of resources on the internet, you can also do a Google search for "play groups" along with the name of your city and state to find the contact information for local play groups for toddlers.
