After experiencing the loss of a loved one, grieving is a natural part of the transition process. It is important to make time for grieving so that you will be able to release your pain.

Instructions
  1. Step 1

    Grieve in your own way. Some people like to grieve alone, some need people around them. Find solace in any way you deem necessary.

  2. Step 2

    Grieving will happen even if our are not ready for it. You don't choose when memories rush through your mind and you break down crying. Let it happen. You need to release your pain.

  3. Step 3

    You are not alone in your grief. Accept assistance from our family and friends.

  4. Step 4

    No one will say to you to take as much time as you need to grieve. Society thinks that we need to get over our loss in six months or less. Take as much time as you need.

  5. Step 5

    Speak and/or write about your grief. It will be therapeutic.

Tips & Warnings
  • Accept that grieving is part of the transition process and that you will experience guilt, anger and sadness. This feelings are normal. Find solace in the time you choose to grieve.
