Paper Flowers

These paper flowers are a fun project that is simple to do and will keep the kids entertained. Common craft materials that most of us have, especially those of us with children, are the only things you need for making these beautiful flowers that won't wilt.

Difficulty: Moderately Easy
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • Tissue Paper
  • Chenille Pipe Cleaners
  • Scissors
  • Glitter Pens
  1. Step 1

Gather your supplies. The next thing you need to do is cut the tissue paper into squares. Four inch squares for the small flowers, six inch squares for medium flowers, and eight inch squares for the large. You will need eight to ten squares for each flower.

  2. Step 2

With the glitter pen, squeeze a thin layer across the right and left side of each square. After the gel dries, fold the tissue paper accordian style from top to bottom. Gather the squares needed for one flower and put them in a stack.

  3. Step 3

With the stack in hand, hold in the middle and spread out like you would a hand of cards. Fold so the glittered ends meet up top and twist a chenille pipe cleaner around the bottom to hold in place. Repeat until desired amount of flowers is reached. Place in a vase and enjoy.
