Things You'll Need:
- A piece of Rope
-
Step 1
What I did was tied one end of the rope to the back cross member at the bottom of the futon frame - stretch the rope across the length of the full futon mattress and tied the other end of the rope to the back cross member.
-
Step 2
I then tucked the rope in the crease of my futon mattress. You could never see it and it did a great job of holding my full futon mattress on the frame. It was great holding the mattress when I flipped it.
-
Step 3
I did this for a few years before I found a cool product called the form fitter mattress strap. This thing worked great for me. The form fitter mattress strap is the easiest way to keep you and your futon mattress on your futon frame. I hope this helps to put an end to the futon mattress slipping madness.
