Things You'll Need:
- Terra Cotta Pot & Saucer
- Acrylic Craft Paint
- Paint Brushes
- "Dauber" Craft Tool
- Polyurethane Sealer (optional)

Step 1
Terra Cotta Pots Are So VersatileFirst, make sure your pot is free of debris and dust. Wipe new pots with a dry cloth. Wash and scrub recycled pot and allow to dry for several hours.

Step 2
Craft PaintNext gather your paints and select the colors you will be using. Acrylic Crafter's Paint is available in craft and some super-stores.

Step 3
Use Your Favorite BrushSelect your brushes according to the size of the pot. Cover your work area with newspaper or drop cloth.

Step 4
I Chose WhiteCoat the entire pot with the base color you have chosen. Paint the entire saucer or just the rim if it is sealed inside. Allow to dry.

Step 5
'Daubers'Using the dauber tool make dots in colors of your choice. If you do not have one of these tools, you may use the eraser end of a pencil, a sponge cut into a circle or wine cork. Dip the tool into an adequate amount of paint and test it on newspaper first. Then proceed to the pot once you perfect your technique.

Step 6
Et Voila!Paint the rim of the pot, if desired. Allow to dry. If you are applying a sealer, follow manufacturer's instructions. Insert your plant and enjoy!
