How to save money on your monthly Telephone and Cable bill.

Difficulty: Moderate
Instructions
  1. Step 1

Some Americans may be are unaware that they could be paying way too much for their phone and cable service. It pays to take the time and inquire about special Telephone service and Cable Tv plans that are available. Verizon seems to be the dominant company supplying phone service nation wide. In addition, Comcast supplies several States with their Cable and Internet Services.

  2. Step 2

For many years I was paying Verizon a minimum of $100 for my monthly residental service. In addition, I was paying my Cable & Internet provider $120 a month for their services. After making some phone calls and inquiries, I was amazed at the money I could save on these services. Many cable companies offer excellent package deals at a great savings.

  3. Step 3

My cable provider offered me a package which included, Residental Phone service, Internet and Cable TV for under $100. Instead of paying Verizon $100 a month plus my cable & Internet service; I can pay $99 for all three services. Essentially, I was able to get rid of Verizon, still have the same services but for less money. I have saved nearly $100 a month by making this change. No matter what state you live in, check with your cable company about special offers or package deals. Good luck. The $100 can be much more beneficial to the consumer than paying it to a phone company.
