Things You'll Need:
- Date of Birth
- Place of Birth
- Time of Birth (optional)
-
Step 1
Find a site that will give you a "free natal chart", such as the one listed below. If you'd rather use another site, enter the phrase "free natal chart" (with quotation marks) into your favorite search engine.
-
Step 2
Enter your information on the site. For the most accurate natal chart reading, you should know your date of birth, city of birth, and time of birth. If you do not have the last two, you can do an approximation, but this might result in a slightly less accurate report (although one still worth doing). Press Enter and go to the next page.
-
Step 3
The next page will probably be a page verifying the place you were born. Just select your city, look over the information again, and submit it to pull up your natal chart.
-
Step 4
And now you have your natal chart! If you've gone with one that has a diagram, look it over a bit. Note any interesting layouts your diagram might have. Are all the lines evenly across your chart or are a lot of them bunched to one side?
-
Step 5
Scroll down to the information given. You will see information like "Rising Sign is in 09 Degrees Taurus" or "Sun is in 17 Degrees Sagittarius". There will also usually be a little bit of interpretive text telling you what this information on your natal chart means.
-
Step 6
For a more complete reading, you should do your own research! Take the information you've been given and do research based off of that. To do this, run a search in your favorite search engine for the key information given. In the above two examples, I would do a search for "sun in Sagittarius" and "rising sign in taurus". You will pull up all sorts of hits, allowing you to interpret your birth chart much more fully than you would by only doing a simple reading.
