Step 1
Snag a same day appointment at the doctor’s office. Make sure you say the word “serious” when making your doctor’s appointment to be treated as a VIP. It is serious or you wouldn’t be wanting to see the docter in the first place. If the doctor is not available then always ask if you can see the nurse practitioner or doctor’s assistant.
-
Step 2
Use your frequent flyer miles to book a trip and get VIP service. If you call the airline and can’t get a seat on the flight, don’t give up. Most flights hold seats for last minute bookings when they actually have some openings. Those free seats are sometimes held until closer to the flight date, so call your frequent flier program and ask to speak to the supervisor. They have the authority to override any holds.
-
Step 3
If you’re making reservations for a hotel and the reservation operator tells you there are no rooms available. Skip the 800 reservation line and call the individual hotel directly. Ask to speak to the manager on duty or the director of sales. They have the up to the minute status on every room in the hotel, including any sudden cancellations that haven’t yet been sent to the central reservations office or posted on the internet.

Step 4
Another VIP trick is waiting until the last minute to get the best prices. Airlines and hotels had rather get less money than no money at all for their empty seats or rooms. This also applies for cruises and vacation packages.
