It seems that everyone is stressing or worrying about something these days. Whether it is workplace stress or paying the bills. Here are some ways for coping with stress and stop worrying so much.

    When you've had a hectic day then you should give yourself a quick pampering session. It will help to put your mind at ease and give you so much stress reduction. Try this easy acupressure exercise to erase some tension. Press firmly on the fleshy part of your hand between your thumb and index finger and hold it for 30 seconds. This will release energy and increase circulation, which improves your blood flow to the muscles. Both of these are good for soothing upset nerves and cause you to stress less.

  2. Step 2

    Close your eyes and take a deep breath while scrunching your toes tightly. Hold for five counts then exhale slowly and release. Repeat different body parts, such as calves, legs, stomach, etc. It is called progressive muscle relaxation and quickest ways to stress reduction.

    An ancient technique to stop worrying is using a worry box. Write down your current worries on a piece of paper and place it inside your worry box. Close the lid. By writing your concerns and worries down in black and white diminishes their power. Then by sealing them away separates them from you. It will provide significant relief.

    Clearing clutter is a major stress reduction. If you have things piled up in places then take care of it by stowing away. You can even place them in a garbage bag and stash them out of site. It will give you peace of mind.

    It is a known fact that if you think positive, you will feel happier.

    Try rubbing your fingers over a string of smooth beads to make you feel calmer and reduce stress.
