Locate clip art online that you would like to use based on the theme of your party. Develop an outline for your invitation or flyer by drawing ideas out on a blank piece of paper with a pencil and add color with markers. Think about the theme of your party and base your ideas around that theme.

Manipulate one or two pieces of clip art into your design. Select a sheet size, such as 8 1/2 by 11 inches. Add the art to areas of the flyer that are eye-catching such as the center or upper left.
