Manipulate one or two pieces of clip art into your design. Select a sheet size, such as 8 1/2 by 11 inches. Add the art to areas of the flyer that are eye-catching such as the center or upper left. Place clip art in the middle or have a piece like an arrow or pointing finger. Find a clip art frame or border for even more impact.

Leave plenty of space between your lettering and artwork. Sketch out the lettering for your flyer with a pencil to get an idea where to place it in relation to the clip art. Put the title of your party over a piece of clip art or stack words in bold under a large piece of art. According to Designer Daily, "White space is good." Do not clutter your design with too much wording or art. Make your art and your message to shine by using a uniform amount of space around the elements of your design.
