How to Draw a Quick and Simple Flower

Have you always wanted to draw a flower but thought you couldn't? Kid's will love learning to draw this quick and easy flower and I'll even throw in a leaf! Have fun and let your pencil and imagination go wild!

    Instructions

    Things You'll Need

    • Pencil or pen
    • Paper

        Circle

        To start this easy flower, draw a circle.

        This is easy!

        Next, draw the top of a heart.

        You're doing great!

        Continue making partial hearts around your circle. To make it appear the petals are overlapping, start your second petal part the way up from your first petal.

        Once you have petals all the way around your circle, put a curved line in the center of each petal.

        You can do it!

        Now it's time to add a leaf. Starting at the indent of one petal draw a curvy line.

        Good job!

        Starting at the petal beside the first petal, Draw another curvy line. Once they connect, it should look like the bottom of a heart.

        At the crease between the two petals start a line that divides the leaf in half.

        Add some details and your done!

        Get really ambitious and fill your page with flowers. Add a few leaves and some color.
