Things You'll Need:
- Toilet
- Wax ring
- Toilet bolts
- 2- small Adjustable wrenches
- Toilet supply line
- Hacksaw
- Cardboard (about 24" + 50")
- Kerosene hand pump
- Small bucket

Step 1
Turn off the water to the old toilet. Disconcert the water supply line at the wall.

Step 2
Flush the toilet twice to remove the remaining water. Use the kerosene hand pump to pump the last bit of water from out of the bowl and the back of the tank. Pump it into the small bucket.

Step 3
Pop the caps off of the bolts at the bottom of the toilet where it sits on the floor. Take the nuts off of the bolts.

Step 4
Lift the toilet straight up and carry it back to where the cardboard is waiting. Set it on it. You can slide the toilet through he house and out the door on this cardboard.

Step 5
Assemble the new toilet according to directions. Clean off the floor flange to remove all old wax. Place new wax seal on flange in center.

Step 6
Place floor bolts where the old bolts were. Sit toilet on top, straight down over bolts. Slowly and evenly push down on toilet until it is settled on floor. Place plastic washer and then nuts on bolts and tighten slowly until secure. Make sure toilet doesn't rock back and forth.

Step 7
Install new water supply line and turn water back on. After toilet fills, flush at least 15 times to check for water leaks.

Step 8
Cut off extra bolt length with hacksaw and install finish caps.

Congratulations. You are done!
