Things You'll Need:
- generic Kahlua
- generic Bailey's
- vodka
- creamer
- glass
- ice
- stir stick
-
Step 1
Gather all the ingredients listed above to make a cheap White Russian.
-
Step 2
Put some ice in a glass. Some people prefer to fill the glass with ice, then add the alcohol, but I prefer to put about 2 or 3 cubes in a 12-ounce tumbler. You may use any size glass you would like, as long as the ratios of the liquids is correct.
-
Step 3
Pour one part vodka into the glass. If using a 12-ounce tumbler, this will be about one shot. For the White Russian, the vodka is the only ingredient I splurge on, but you can use any kind of vodka you would like.
-
Step 4
Pour two parts generic Bailey's and one part generic Kahlua into the glass with the vodka. I usually go with the second-from-bottom shelf varieties, but, again, you can use any brands you would like.
-
Step 5
Pour two parts creamer into the tumbler. I prefer nondairy creamer, but you can use half-and-half or even milk.
-
Step 6
Use your stir stick to stir all the liquid together. You can use anything from a plastic spoon to an antique silver swizzle stick. It doesn't matter what you use, as you're just using it to stir. I've seen people stir this drink with their fingers.

on 2/25/2009 This is how we make White Russians at work, we use Kapali's for the Kahluah, and Carolan's for the Bailey's. And you cannot tell the difference! Saves a lot of money, though!
