Send Large Files

Sending large files through e-mail can be a headache. It takes too long to attach, freezes, or even pops up and tells you it's too big of a file. There are plenty of free file sharing websites out there to use. There are many sites online that will allow you to send larger files FREE anywhere. Here are the best of the best to use for sending large files.

Difficulty: Easy
Instructions
  1. Step 1

Yousendit.com, I think, is the best at spending large files online. They have a free trial. You can try it out for free. It will allow up to 2GB free space for you to upload and send your file. All you need to do is upload, add the email address to receive it, and viola! Instant file transfer. Give it a try! It's fast, and easy. http://www.yousendit.com

  2. Step 2

Another really great file transfer site is, TransferBigFiles.com. It's very simple. Upload your file and add the e-mail of the recipient. Very fast, simple and SAFE for all internet users. http://www.transferbigfiles.com/

  3. Step 3

Sendthisfile.com is a GREAT site for easy file transfers. You have to register, however you get unlimited file size limit, and it tracks how many times you file has been opened by the recipient. Free to use and simple. http://www.sendthisfile.com/

  4. Step 4

FILEDROPPER: Now, File dropper doesn't SEND it, but it does HOST it for you. You can upload up a 5GB file, and simply give whomever the URL to see, view or download the file. Completely safe, free and easy. You have to register and after that....go crazy with it. You upload anything from txt files to MP3s. http://www.filedropper.com/

Tips & Warnings
  • You can WinZip a HUGE file to send to someone. It makes it a lot easier and smaller. You can fit a lot more into any file to send to someone that way.
