Just because you are shopping for plus sized clothing doesn't mean your bill has to be plus sized as well. Many retailers charge extra for extended sizes, but pricey markups can be avoided while still maintaining a sharp style.

Difficulty: Easy
Instructions
  1. Step 1

Shop discount stores like Marshall's or Nordstrom Rack. These offer the same stock that were in department stores at clearance prices. The only drawback is they may have clothing from the previous season, but that is a small price to pay when you can get designer names like Liz Claiborne in plus sizes for very cheap prices.

  2. Step 2

Shop the internet. There are several sites online that are great for finding deals on plus sized clothing. Check the resources section below for some great sites that offer discounts on plus sizes that are made by popular designers.

  3. Step 3

As with standard sized clothing, some of the best places to find designer deals are consignment stores. Many shops offer a plus sized rack at a fraction of the cost retail stores charge for new. And since they are a designer label, chances are they have a lot of life left in them.

  4. Step 4

Check out Ebay. Many times buyers will sell lots of plus sized clothing in a particular size. Name brands are included, so this is a great way to get a stack of beautiful clothes.
