Step 1
Turn on your car ignition. Turn your car stereo "OFF".

Press and hold the "MULTI-CONTROL" button (looks like a round dial) for a few seconds until the display pop up. Rotate the "MULTI-CONTROL" button until it says "CLOCK." If you have an older model without a "MULTI-CONTROL" button, press and hold the "FUNCTION" or "AUDIO" button until the display pops up, then immediately release the button. Press the "FUNCTION" or "AUDIO" button again until the display reads "CLOCK."

Step 3
Push the "MULTI-CONTROL" button upward and downward to adjust the hours and minutes. For older models, first press the "UP" and "DOWN" buttons to adjust the hours. Use the "LEFT" and "RIGHT" arrows to move to the minutes, then press the "UP" and "DOWN" buttons to adjust the minutes.

Step 4
Press the "ESCAPE" or "SOURCE" button to exit.

on 8/3/2009 My pioneer car stereo has a remote control. while turning on the unit press and hold "function" in the remote control and clock settings appear, browse to the right and start setting the clock.
