Oily skin accumulates dirt and dead cells that clog pores. The appearances of wide, dark pores paired with oily skin are blackheads. Oily skin must be kept clean and treated with a mask once a week. Grapefruit juice is a natural astringent. The citric acid found in grapefruits cuts oil and tightens pores. Grapefruit mixed with gelatin purges the skin of impurities and allows pores to close. When used on a regular basis, it clears and refines skin.

Difficulty: Moderately Easy
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  1. Step 1

Squeeze a 1/2 cup of grapefruit juice into a microwave-safe bowl. Add gelatin and stir.

  2. Step 2

Heat in microwave for 45 seconds to 1 minute. Make certain that the solution is dissolved by stirring with the spoon.

  3. Step 3

Place bowl in the refrigerator and let stand for 30 minutes. Do not let the gelatin completely set.

  4. Step 4

Smooth a thin layer over face and allow it to dry. Peel or rinse after 20 to 30 minutes.
The skin should feel fresh and smooth. The gelatin peel may contain blackheads and dirt.
