How to Clean Water Spots From Glasses

Hard water can leave difficult-to-remove water spots that can sully the appearance of your drinking glasses. Here are some ways to remove those unsightly spots.

Things You'll Need

• Vinegar
• CLR
• Jet Dry

Instructions

1. 

   Soak the glasses in vinegar for about 15 minutes and rinse well. This will break down the water spots and make it harder for them to form again.

2. 

   Put Jet Dry in your dishwasher and run the glasses through a full cycle.

3. 

   Put a mixture of half warm water and half CLR into a bowl and dip the glasses into it. Wipe them clean with a soft cloth and rinse. Repeat if necessary.

Tips & Warnings

• If none of these tips work, the hard water may have etched the glass and is now permanent.
