      Hold the glasses by the frame under warm running water. Adjust the water pressure to a low stream to avoid damaging the glasses. Rinse the front and back side of the glasses. Rinsing the glasses under water removes dirt particles that can scratch the lenses.

      Squirt a small amount of dish soap on each lens. Using your fingers, gently lather the soap and clean the lens. Spread some of the lather onto both the front and back side of each lens. Dish soap removes oil and smudges from the lenses.
