How to Install a Canon MP360 Ink Cartridge

The Canon MP360 possesses a number of attractive features, including the ability to print photos, make copies and scan documents.       Turn the printer on and lift the scanner until it locks in place. The ink cartridge holder will move into view. Remove the cover from the ink cartridge holder.

      Grip the tab at the front end of the empty ink cartridge. Pull the tab towards you, freeing the cartridge from the printer. Remove the empty ink cartridge and dispose of it.

      Remove the replacement ink cartridge from its packaging, taking care to hold it by the sides. Tilt the cartridge on its side and remove the protective cap at the bottom.

      Insert the replacement ink cartridge into the appropriate slot in the ink cartridge holder. The black ink goes on the left side, and color ink goes on the right.

      Restore the cover to the ink cartridge holder and lower the scanner into place. The printer will display a message asking if you have replaced an ink cartridge. Press the left arrow button.

      The printer will ask which cartridge you replaced; use the right arrow button to navigate to the correct choice and press the left arrow button to confirm your selection. This will reset the printer's ink counter.

      Insert a piece of paper into the tray and press "Additional Functions." Use the arrow buttons to navigate to "Maintenance" and press "Set." Use the arrow buttons to navigate to "Align Print Head" and press "Set" again to generate a printout.

      Review the printout and mark which patterns appear most solid to you. Use the arrow and set buttons to input your choices; once completed, the printer is ready for operation.
